Pink Tourmaline Snake Button Earrings

These snake button earrings are made of fine silver, that is, quite pure. The die these were made from came from an antique jewelry company that was closing. Thankfully there are people doing the work of gathering these beautiful collections up and preserving them. 

Using a die is kind of like reverse stamping.

Likely designed in late 1880's when snakes symbolized eternal love.  I've paired them with pink tourmaline as I like to brighten the dark, without removing it.
